The job entails providing exceptional customer service to coaches within a designated area, with the aim of making their lives easier. Revenue generation and meeting sales/growth targets are also key responsibilities. The successful candidate will need to develop and qualify leads within their territory to drive additional sales opportunities through cold-calling and lead generation campaigns. Sales in existing accounts will need to be increased by selling to all sports at all levels, ensuring that all coaches receive the same level of service. Data-driven business intelligence will be used to identify new trends and opportunities.
Applicants must possess proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel. Three years of athletic team sales experience, as well as proficiency in using an iPad, are also required. The ability to take initiative, work independently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision, possess excellent problem-solving, organizational and multi-tasking skills, and strong verbal and written communication skills are also crucial.
Preferred qualifications include three or more years of business-to-business outside sales experience, coaching/sports-related background, and a bachelor's degree, as well as demonstrated local community involvement.
